In Diya Aur Baati Hum Sandhya and Sooraj are the main characters who help each other through many obstacles. Sandhya’s life goal is to become an IPS officer and fights hard and does everything she can do live that dream. Once Sandhya and Soorajget married, it is hard for her to pursue this dream. Sooraj, on the other hand, runs a sweets shop near his house that has turned widely popular over time.
