Maryada is created by a joint effort by DJ’s Creative Unit and Star Plus. The channel and production house are presently shooting at Kalka and Chandigarh, for the first time on Indian Television. For the first time on Indian Television, the shoots on the busy streets of Kalka, Railway stations of Chandigarh and Kalka, Mansadevi templenear Kalka, will be shown.
We hear that, the popular playback singer, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Krishna of Chak De fame, have sung for the title track of the show. The show is said to be loosely inspired from the Desperate Housewives. Maryada is said to be a bold show, and is expected to get a late night slot of 11.30 pm.
